    Thanks I'm using a laptop with 2gb ram and a core2 duo (not to sure on procesor speed but its pretty fast) will i be able to scale the picture down on the camera to say 720? or will that have to be done on an editing program. Also i have no proper editing software and I hear lots of people talking about different programs which is the best for making ametuer films?
