I was teaching Greg how to make my salmon patties. This is a modified version of Arnold's "Muscle Burger" (I replaced the ground beef with salmon).

Ingredients:
* 16 Wheat Thins, ground
* 3 egg whites
* 1 can salmon

You can substitute oats for Wheat Thins. And if your cholesterol is kosher, then you can use two whole eggs instead of three egg whites.

It is more healthy than it is delicious. But I really enjoy eating these! Makes two large patties.

    I like it because of Greg's outburst at the end. Salmon on the other hand, not as much.

    I think I may actually try this, thanks Nick.

    Make sure the salmon that you buy is boneless and skinless! Otherwise you will be in for a skeleton surprise.

    Looks pretty good to me. Have you tried other fish, e.g. Tuna? Would that work?
  • Buck Flashroy 1 year ago
    The picture this video finishes on is great. Greg looks so happy.
  • Nick Gray 1 year ago
    Yes! Tuna works great. And all cans of tuna are boneless and skinless, while only select cans of salmon are.

    Nasty. What's wrong with egg whites?
  • Nick Gray 1 year ago
    Nothing!
  • Buck Flashroy 1 year ago
    They go great with egg yolks.

    It looked semi-appetizing until I heard the rock-solid noise it made when you tipped it into the bowl.

    By the way, did you mash those Wheat Thins in a coffee grinder?
  • Nick Gray 1 year ago
    Yes, the Wheat Thins were mashed in a coffee grinder. You could also break them up with a rolling pin or your ninja hands.

    We usually have salmon cakes for dinner, and use the Zatarain's mix.
