The song reminds me of the song at the end of the Truman Show.

High art man. Did anyone else notice how the fast motion gave an illusion of running? What are you running from Noah?

  • themexican 2 years ago
So fascinating... and oddly sad... like watching time itself.

Also your hair is so much better than Ahree Lee's...

That is insane. I swear your eyes will be haunting me when I try to fall asleep tonight. P.S. I think I like your hair the best at 3:56.
  •

Fantastic! I liked when you had those few pictures of you smiling sneak in the clip for a split second.

This is really something else. I love the people coming in and out in the backgrounds.
  •
  • rion 2 years ago
had been waiting for this... good pick on music. quite haunting.
  •
  • greentea flute 2 years ago
this is lovely, I love this kind of still frame animation, it used to be called "pixelation" in the pre-digital age, when was that? and the music, a Ravel piano concerto? Very thought-provoking!
  •
  • bensower 2 years ago
that is amazing...i love the music...very haunting
  •
  • hªnnes 2 years ago
my god, this is the best i've seen so far! turi did something similar, but just 365 days.
it's incredible how you always keep the same facial expression and the world (including the hair) moves around you. it's almost hyptnotizing!
    wow!!
did you really get a pic EVERY day?
  •
  • AA 2 years ago
I would say, "haircut!" everytime you got one.

very cool but a bit too long in my eyes (the video).

That made me kind of dizzy. Perhaps you might consider growing an elaborate handlebar moustache, purely for visual effect. Clearly, this is not a bald man's medium....

Great video and music !!! ***************
  •
  • DeadMooseInc 2 years ago
I could describe it in one word, as there was a big long "daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang" coming out of my mouth. These efforts are admirable, though admittedly dizzying.

What I did like is how, towards the end, it almost looked like that room was crumbling.

I wish I could remember to do this every day. I tried a few months ago but it only lasted about a week. This is a great thing to have.
It was nice meeting you at the USA in July.

    Fucking amazing.

I want to see the finished product. You should stipulate in your will that the finished film MUST be played continuously at your funeral. Projected into the sky or something.

You must have so much patience to do this. It's interesting how everything around you changes, but your eyes still stay the same.
  •
  • missmareck 2 years ago
quite nice, quite nice, noah. i like it very much. is there anywhere that we can get the soundtrack by carly? and is carly going to score the whole of your life? the music is quite lovely.

yes, quite a haunting experience. the fact that your eyes expression (almost) never changes is what strikes me the most. you must a be a patient guy...

this is facinating. your eyes are haunting and the music is beautiful. extremely interesting idea, yet the mood is dark. i think you're great.
  •
  • Eizan 2 years ago
Wow, that was a slick film! I really liked the way the music fit the moods of the film. I do hope you keep up the good work, so we can see the final product many years from now!
  •
  • lavonne 2 years ago

I felt like the hair was trying to tell me something. It almost looked like some kind of hair-based sign language.

I think it's quite likely that you hair is trying to send secret messages, so that it can team up with the Russian beard and the American moustache from The Tick.

this is SO beautiful! I love the way every once in a while you'd open your mouth or scrunch your eyebrows. and your wild hair... everything about it is simply beautiful. congratulations.

Truly amazing, the music choice was great..

One question tho, was it written to follow the shots or do they just apear to follow the emotion of the music at times?

  • vimeoman 2 years ago
I like that one day... you know, that one where your hair was messed up. That was one great photograph. The rest are kinda just fillers don't ya think?
  • vimeoman 2 years ago
By my estimation, I count that you wore your simple beige t-shirt with brown neck ring 45 times. You start waring it about 1/2 way though the clip (summer '03 perhaps). Anyone care to back me up on this?
  • Noah K. 2 years ago
    i love that shirt
  •
  • everynameistkn 2 years ago
fantastic, thought the music was cool too. although i didn't analize it to the point as some others did (how often you wore a beige shirt) I was sucked in. Very impressive.

  • Krys@k 2 years ago
WoW! :o) Great job Noah, awesome thing. I was so patient while watching it, it's so magic and deep. It's like the life itself, how the time passes. No proper expression is strong enough to display what I was feeling. Deepest bow :o) You have inspired me. I will try to do the same thing but for a bit longer time. Cya in my 31 :o) P.S.: I am 21 now.
