    As to only shooting 60fps for 3 seconds. That might have been on SDHC card when attempting to shoot 30p/60 slow motion. There's no issue on SxS cards.

    Vimeo's H.264 encodes are Main Profile. In order for an H.264 file to play on the iPhone it would have to be Baseline Profile. That would mean EVERY FILE ON VIMEO would need to be encoded TWICE (once to each profile). That would be a massive storage increase, longer encode time, the ability to detect the iPhone and play the correct video, probably increased bandwidth use given an increase in viewing at any given moment. I suspect Vimeo would have to charge for this. It might work as an additional expense on top of Plus. Vimeo staff might want to enumerate and expand on the above but I'm sure these are some of the hurdles they face.

    YouTube has 10:59 duration limit whereas Vimeo has none . . . unless YouTube has changed this too. While the Vimeo duration does not change from Free to Plus accounts, having no duration limit means you can upload several HD clips over 10:59 with Plus but can't do that at all even with 2GB limit. Simply put. Vimeo Plus can upload five 1GB HD clips over 10:59 YouTube none.
