Zombies!!!! The Power of Reading: This was the most recent official DPEZ Productions video, which is from all the way back at the middle of senior year 2007, for a creative writing class. It tells the chilling story of a zombie attack. Just watch it. You won't be let down. Unless I build it up by saying something stupid like that?The RAID: This video is actually real. They really did "berry bouquet spray" the hell out of a party. This is just a documentary of the event. Don't fuck with us, or you really will end up smelling like a really bad air freshener from the dollar store. Sean's Very Merry Christmas! This week!!! And thanks to some smart thinkin' I have readjusted the schedule so all videos will be on Vimeo 2 weeks earlier than planned, aka next week will be the last week. Vimeo has this whole "only allowed to upload 500mb per week" so it was basically just having to coordinate it right that everyone is under 500mb each week. But yeah, so all videos will be online just in time for the end of this school year at ISU. So this week is pretty sweet, Sean's Very Merry Christmas is great, and next week will totally totally rock as well. This was project for Neal's class required it be a story told with only pictures and not actual video footage. Also, after getting a 100% on the project, it was then found out that it was supposed to a true story. The validity of this story could not be found, however the 100% was kept, and the rest of the class hated Neal from that day on."Tomás Swearing Montage: While filming the Tomás, we really had trouble keeping our composure and not messing up our lines. This lead to the video taking up 45 mins of video for a 5 min video. So Dave, cut a video of just all the swearing that was done. Juraska for President was made for my Senior Composition class, and it was pretty random to do, the assignment was to actually just make a pamphlet, but we convinced the teacher to allow Neal and I to make a video instead. Then plus it was pretty sweet because after everyone presented, our teacher let the class vote for which was best for extra credit, and since we had the only video, it was pretty much a shoo-in.Mr. Medic has absolutely nothing at all to do with me. I did not help make this video at all or anything at all, but I figured since it was put up this week I would post it. The video is probably not for you unless you were in the class its talking about, so yeah. It's basically a video about an honors physics class that my friend was in.The Train! After being on a 4 hour plane ride, then waiting 2 hours for my bus to ISU, while on the 3 hour bus ride I was really bored so I decided to whip out my comp and mess around with Flash again. I still not very good at all, but after much trying, I finally succeeded in getting the GEAN logo on my phone background, but this time not as an image, but actually moving like it does on the GEAN blog. So yeah, great success, it's not perfect, I had to convert the .fla to .gif for my phone to be able to run it, and of course that results in a loss of quality. But overall, I'm at least proud I got it working and looking right. [less]

HEF: The Michael Thomas Hefler Story is a fictitious documentary about a friend of mine. I only helped with this video, I did not direct it and only helped write portions of it. It's just a fun little video about the life of a very interesting person, who can only be summed up by one video. Also, it has good music. Nice.Immortal Technique Interview, a video made for my Spanish class senior year, is an interesting film in that we really didn't want to do any real editing so we decided to do the whole thing by handing the camera back and forth to each other, doing it all in one take per scene. I have uploaded three videos to Vimeo this week, the first being the video I made for use on my Space Dementia DVD, the second being the Gasolina Director's Commentary, and the last being a little something called Rasputin Dance Montage, which is basically a bunch of cellphone clips edited together.Ava Maria is a relatively boring video, but that is because it was made for use on the DVD menu to Space Dementia because I decided to submit Space Dementia to a gallery here at school, so hopefully I'll get in or something. But yeah, I really like this video, it's very chill and hypnotic. Watching it at full quality on full screen is just amazing. It's beautiful. So this week the two videos up are Tomás and Hitting Fruit in Slow Motion.Tomás is a video that I helped to make for my senior year Spanish 4 class. I really can't promise you that our spanish is anywhere near decent, but a majority of you won't even know, so just enjoy those great facial expressions and interesting subtitles. Starting this week, I will be seeing that two videos are uploaded to vimeo.com each week, until all of the videos that I have made/helped make are on Vimeo, because they have a whole lot better quality than YouTube and frankly I think its a much better website anyways.So anyways, this week I am starting out by uploading the good ole' Gasolina Spoof video that I made as I first learned how to use iMovie. I wasn't even in the class that I made it for, but Dave and Mike really wanted my help and I was more than willing. For my second video of this week, it's a modification of the Gasolina Spoof video, the Mike is Gay? video, which was made after realizing that the clips we shot for the Gasolina thing really made Mike out to be really, really, really creepy.
