Vimeo Travel? in the Vimeo Projects Forum

So heres my idea:

When a Vimeo'er is going somewhere on vacation, they post a forum topic with the place they're going to, EG London, New York, Sydney... Other vimeo users who are familiar with that place can suggest places they should visit or they can post a 'challenge'. The traveling Vimeo'er has to document they're trip showing them at the places or completing the challenges then share the clip on to Vimeo.

Over time we could build up a Vimeo travel guide or something.

NOTE: This is kind of a last minute idea as I'm going to Toronto tomorrow and it just popped into my head, feel free to add!

Im going to London in October if anyone has suggestions. I'll be sure to post a video documenting the trip.

.hmm..being in america i'd like to see the store with the first mclaren in the window and some shots of the surroundings outside the various football stadiums(soccer to americans).or actually go to a football game and record the chanting crowds.

I've done a travel guide to Newcastle if that's any good? I'm traveling around the south of France surfing with some mates to Hossegor and Biarritz but i don't want to take the vid cam in case it gets nicked from the camper van ;(

i'm going to paris with some friends in the weekend of the 7th of july.

we are going because i want to interview the greatest band no one knows: mission of burma.

They aren't performing in the netherlands so i thought, okay, if mission of burma doesnt come to me, i'll go to mission of burma.

shellac is also gonna perform.

i'm going to film it al and make a roadtrip/mission of burma doc. It will be the debut of my new xh a1.

i sure hope it goes well, i'm planning to screen it at least once in a small theater or something.

if anybody has suggestions or would like to film the band to (live or interview), make sure to get in touch with me. I can always use some 'inside' info or an extra angle during filming...
