Okay, so I uploaded and deleted a few copies of the same avatar (at different sizes) to try and fix the "problem" I had with a grey border around my avatar. I figured it must be because I uploaded too small a picture. I eventually figured out that I the grey border must appear around my avatar to differentiate me from the rest of the avatars, and that other people likely don't see it that way. Am I right?

Anyways, I now have a nice avatar up, but it seems to be set as a secondary one, and my main avatar is empty. Can someone fix this for me, or let me know how to fix it?

Your portrait should be fixed now.

And that greyish border around your profile means you're online. When you see other people with that border, you'll know they're online too.
