Problems uploading picture in the Vimeo Bugs Forum

When I try to upload a profile picture I get the following error:

Sorry, there was an error processing this file. 207009-d3c0f683
(Error: No image file server available)

My profile pic was gorked up (blew it up too big?) and when I deleted the pics in there and tried to upload a new one, I keep getting the "Success!" message, but no pic appears. Have tried two different JPG's. Does it have to be a certain size? (140X140) Or does it resize automatically?

This doesn't seem to be fixed - or some new manifestation of the problem is ocurring anyway.

Uploading profile pics always seemed a bit buggy to me (in IE7, Firefox and Safari) - picture says it's uploaded then doesn't show.

I managed to get my profile pic up one day though and thought all was fine.

But now it's stopped loading (just certain versions of it). The following don't load:
- Big 300x300 pic on my profile page
- Teeny icon in my menu bar at the top

Other versions show
- 70 x 70 version next to the field i am typing in right now
- 70 x 70 version at the top of each of my videos
- teeny version in credits tabs

And once again I cannot upload a new profile pic in any browser so I'm left with images failing to load all the time.

Any thoughts???

can you try uploading a new image from your settings/portrait page. then select the new image as your portrait and hit save. then leave and come back to the settings/portrait page and select your black&yellow thumbnial and hit save.

Hi Soxiam, I have tried to upload a number of different images to the account but although I receive an "upload successful" notification the new image doesn't show up to be selected.

OK the uploaded pictures evntually showed up (after a few hours) and I was able to select a new profile pic, upload the original again, then reselect that and all icons are working again now.

It's certainly still a little temperamental that system but I'm happy cos now I have my profile pic back!

I have tried both. Tried once from my profile page using Safari and multiple times from the settings page using safari, firefox and even through IE7 on windows.

The really peculiar thing is that my profile pic was fine before and through no (apparent at least) action on my part it just stopped displaying properly

When i click on Browse Image it does nothing, tryed using FireFox and AOL Desktop (Based on Safari)

EDIT: Forget it, the problem is that i had Flash Player 10, i downgraded to 9 and everything got fixed :D
