    Not just for advertising or posting porn, but something else. Have users ever been axed from the service for behaving in a manner deemed unacceptable by the powers that be?

    If someone has uploaded a lot of videos and only shown abusive behavior once or twice, we try to get them to understand that it's not acceptable here.

    Of course, that is very rarely the case. More often, people create anonymous accounts with no videos just to bash other users. This is unacceptable and users like this are removed without warning.

    Vimeo exists to foster a positive environment around the making and sharing of videos. It does not exist to allow people to anonymously abuse others. That's what the rest of the Internet is for.
