    I uploaded a movie this afternoon. A few hours later I wanted to replace it with a new version. I clicked the "replace" button, but it immediately took me back to the "settings page." I could not replace the movie and it said that it was because I had used up all my quota.

    So, I decided to delete the movie, and then upload the new one. I deleted it, but my quota was not restored. Now I cannot upload my new video because it says I've used up my space.

    I know you've said before that the space should be returned, if a situation like this all occurs during the same week. This all occurred today, but it's not working.

    Can restore my quota? Thanks!!

    hey i just reset your upload quota to 500MB. can you try again?

    I'm having the same problem. I uploaded a video earlier this week ~97MB and then another ~314MB. Then I tried to replace the first video file with one that is slightly bigger (~109MB) but it won't allow me, citing quota limit constraints. I suppose I can wait until next week to do this, but I was wondering if this is a bug or if there is a workaround?

    It's happening again. I'm trying to replace a video I uploaded last night, and it's telling me that REPLACING the video exceeds my remaining quota. Can you RESET my quota again please so I can replace the film? Thanks!!

    I'm having the same issue. I replaced a video earlier this week and my quota count for this week is incorrect. Vimeo says I have 26 MB left when it should be 136.50. Can you check my status please. Thanks in advance!

  • I have to replace every three or four days 2 videos, to show the progression of the editing to the band for which i'm working (sorry for the bad english), but the system of quota doesn't work, i can't replace anything cause, it says I've used up my space, like everybody there.. can i have help ?

    I'm experiencing exactly the same.
    The quota system doesn't seem to work for replacing videos (that is, it doesn't work as it's supposed to).
    Every time I replace my video with a new one (I'm trying out different codecs/bitrates etc) but it doesn't subtract the difference, it subtracts the new file from my quota.
    I'm quite sure though, that this problem is already known to staff, and I hope it will be fixed soon. :)

    I uploaded some content and something happened to it on the conversion. It was an AVI file that I've been trying to upload for two weeks. Anyhow, it didn't work and even after all the "success" messages only 4 seconds of black plays....

    I want to try to upload it as an mpeg because I've had success with that format. However, when I deleted the "bad" video and attempted to upload another I had the same quota problems as the others. Did I make a mistake by replacing my video instead of deleting/uploading new? Any help would be appreciated. It's a short film that everybody is asking to see...

    quotas are reset on the day you signed up, which in your case is thursday. I reset your quota so you should be all set.

    Hello, Somehow one out of 3 uploads just failed so, that the video is marked "untitled" and "private" in my own videos, but I cannot access it as is says "untitled not found", but it's still filling my quota.

    Something similar here: I have 122 MB free and want to replace a video with one that is actually smaller. Then, I get an error that this would put me over the limit. Can you please reset my quota?

    You are only allowed one account. And one with YouTube in the name isn't looked upon favorably.

    Didn't even think about the user name...that's what I usually am called 'on-air'. Fixed so it doesn't advertise the competition :)

    I had two accounts with two email addresses so I could have a personal one, and one for radio stuff. I deleted the personal one, and kept this one :). Sorry about that :).

    Hi,
    I have the same problem here. Uploaded a 498 Mb video which restarted a lot of time conversion so I deleted to add another but I didn't go back to 500Mb and I have only 1Mb still remaining for this week. As you can see my page is empty. Please Help !!!

    Perhaps I don't need to add yet another replace/quota comment but I have just had the same experience. I just joined yesterday and uploaded a small part of my video to test the process/result. Since everything when OK I replaced the part with the whole video. Looks like I lost about 5 - 6 megs in the process which was the size of the small sample I uploaded. There is no way I'm going to use up my 500 MB this week so it isn't an issue today but thought I'd let you know in case you thought this area was working.
