Why is electricity soooooo slow? I want to get a full charge on the battery before I start playing and a lunch break of charging just isn't enough. So now I get to set at work for a little over 2 more hours just waiting.

Obviously I'm going to have to do a ton of experimentation in order to get a feel for this camera, but I've got to crash course down to basics quickly. We've got a trip to Disney with the kids next week!

So far from my readings here and at hv20.com I think I'll start working with 30p (I think that's it) as opposed to 24 and the TV setting over Cinema. Then I'll move on from there.

I'm like a kid at Christmas. All my other cams have been fairly low end and far from HD, so now I get to really push past my previous limits.

    Man, this clock is SLOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!!

I remember my first day with the HV10... I was so excited, I when I finally managed to view the results I was totally blown away (still am!), compared to my old Canon SD camcorder the HV10 was a revelation. Congrats!!
