    I use the following.. partnersinrhyme.com/pir/PIRsfx.shtml

Where do other people get sound effects from?
  • Paul Gremley 3 months ago
I'm on Emusic. It's 10 bucks a month. They have about 60 sound effects collections. DL 40 tracks per month, not the best deal for 30 sec. clips, but it's in there and it's indexed and searchable.

Note: They have tons of music too. Classical, country, jazz, comedy etc... but if you want popular music.. not much of that there.

I am also eMusic (and iTunes) but am a newbie to this outstanding Vimeo. What audio is permissible to use as a sound track? I suppose there might be an on-the-record answer but a wink-and-a-nod on commercial music as long as this site is primarily enjoyment/education? Apologies if this is covered elsewhere and I haven't seen it yet.

This is a lot cleaner than the site I've been using.

    Thanks for the reply.
