When searching for a video or viewing a list of videos in the "thumbnail" or "detailed" format, there's no way to know if a video is HD without accessing it.

You can see the HD videos by listing them in the "videos" format, but that's not fast.

So adding a little HD icon next to the title or an overlay on the video thumbnail would be very nice.

we've been discussing this internally as well and might get rolled into future release of vimeo.

After further review, we have decided not to differentiate HD from the other videos on Vimeo. Our reason behind this decision is simply that we do not believe that HD content is any better by default just because it is in HD.

However, we are thinking of creating a HD sort/search method, in which you will be able to find just HD content... we just don't feel it needs to be differentiated in your inbox or video browser.
