Hello, I've been having some trouble with my uploaded videos. On almost all of them, the audio goes in and out of sync with the video. I checked the original video, and it's not a problem. What's the deal with this, and can it be fixed?

Probably not. Vimeo doesn't do major engineering in that part of the site, from what I know. I think you will need to use a different encoding process.

are your videos .wmv by any chance? Our software has trouble with that file type sometimes, please try another format like .mpg .mov .mp4

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

I make .wmv files (I have no other option)
and I have experienced the out-of-sync effect...
I was afraid that my latest project would turn to mush on Vimeo since it needed to be totally in sync --
however, the file converted perfectly -- twice!
(I replaced it with Version 2.)
So someone must be doing something right!
    Thanks,
    -jb

P.S. I'm getting some new editing software,
so maybe I can leave .wmv behind!

P.P.S. I just replaced an out-of-sync video from a few months ago, and this time it converted correctly!

Hm. Well what I noticed is that Vimeo videos are 24fps, whereas videos I uploaded were 60. What I did was re-encode the video with only 24fps and that seems to have fixed the issue. Either that or someone has indeed fixed the problem.
