Inconsistency between stats and referrers in the Vimeo Bugs Forum

Hi there!

I've just noticed a pretty major inconsistency on my Digital Interactive Fireworks video : vimeo.com/944162/ It's telling me that there have been no views today (which is surprising) and the total views is listed as 1910.

If you open up the referrers tab, it's telling me that blog.makezine.com has sent through nearly 22,000 visitors! Surely that should be updated in the view count?

right now, our "play" stats are only capturing embedded plays. do you think that could be the source of the discrepancy?

could it be that referrers refers to the number of people that see the embedded video (it's embedded on a makezine blog post) and plays refers only to the number of people that click the play button?

ok but still a bit weird that I'm showing 0 plays today... very unusual for hits to completely stop dead like that... can you check please?
