What I'd really like to see is more use of the like feature that already exists, right now when I like something it just goes on a page and acts as quick links to the videos I like but its not really doing anything else, but whats happening is that its building up an identity about myself because on the whole my likes are around similar subject areas, extreme sports and comedy. What I'd really love to see made is a feature that recomends videos to me based on the videos I've said I like. The feature would analyses the tags that are on the video's and search for other videos with similar tags then cross refference this with how many people have clicked like on it and how many comments are on the video.

I do like the staff recomends video's, they are good and it's making sure that I look at things other than my stapples but right now it takes too long to get to the good videos and I think this feature would speed things up.

I'd also like to be able to catergorise my videos, listing them as friends, comedy, snownboard, long board that way I'd be able to find my favourite video quickly.

the thing about purely machine generated list of recommended videos (based on titles, tags and descriptions) is that they are often too wide or too narrow. we've tried 'related videos' in the past with mixed results. we may bring it back in the future.

that said, i would suggest you also give the real secret sauce behind vimeo a try -- people driven recommendation. as you add like-minded people to your contacts, you will discover wealth of videos they upload and they liked. you may also want to subscribe to tags or channels you find interesting. the results tend to be more organic and entertaining.

as for organizing your own videos into categories i would suggest you give our albums feature a try.

    hope this helps.

Wow, thanks for getting back to me so fast, I wasnt aware of the album feature.

As for recomendations, what if it was more like digg, or fffound?

the other option is to go the whole hog, like amazon or netflix but there spending major dollars to get that to work.

I do love going through contacts favourites and looking at the videos they uploaded, its just at times it can be a little too much trial and error.
