Password-Protected Embedded Video Issue in the Vimeo Bugs Forum

My password-protected embedded videos are not working as of today. Everything looks fine, but after typing in the password, clicking the 'Enter' button doesn't do anything. There are no error messages. Going to the Vimeo page works fine and once you are authenticated, the embeds work fine as well. Thanks.

yep, got the same problems on blogspot! I haven't changed anything, yet no one can watch the videos any longer. Any suggestions?

same here. I'm new here, I just registered and tried to upload a video (I need to protect it with a pasword, and YouTube sucks about it), I embedded it in my page and.. unfortunately doesn't play when I submit the password. It simply doesn't do anything.

Has it always been a known problem or did it work in the past? As I read here, that is a problem since today.

It's been working fine for me until yesterday. There was a similar problem a couple weeks ago when they upgraded the player. As a temporary work-around, I've provided direct links to my videos (eg vimeo.com/123456 ) so people can still see them.

i have a problem with the Embedded video. When i embedded it it will not play. I get a small 'play' in the left hand corner but nothing will play.
