    hi, i love this site a lot. and really enjoy putting my video on it. but there is one thing that does concern me. I used put my video on Stage6 for quite a long time. and there are many clips that I have uploaded. But it suddenly shut down without any warning. I know it is very hard to run a website like that. so when i found Vimeo, I really hope it can operate forever.

    Nothing operates forever. Just make sure you keep backups of your videos.

    The only thing is certain, that things will change.

    Once vimeo is gone, another one or an even a better one comes on-line.
    Just like in the past.
    Things will change for the better when tech is concerned.

    indeed, but it gets annoying to move all videos from one place to another.

    It would be great with a list of all your videos with small check boxes next to em' (think of gmail etc..).
    Then, select the ones you want to download and then hit a button to queue them for download.

    This would make it super easy to backup all your vimeo just in case.

    Don't be lazy, burn your videos to a simple DVD and lock it. If anything goes wrong, you'll still have a backup. BACKUP. Important thing.

    Might as well enjoy this HD site so long as it is still up. I surely hope that Vimeo has a backup plan in place when they start experiencing cost issues.
