For instance I really like the main 'Explore' page some implementation of this for groups might start people joining more groups instead of not finding one and starting their own group. So there's all these one person groups floating around...

Basically I feel this should exist in the Explore section. Currently I don't feel it works that way.

Comments out of context don't really drive me to click and find new things. It seems to be the backbone of your model though, but I wish it could be shared with some useability from other video based sites. youtube does some things really well like subscriptions.
