    When watching a long video in a channel, if I decide that I dont want to continue watching it and instead I want to watch another video on the same page I cannot stop the first video downloading and this makes the second video stutter whilst playing
    How about a button on the viewer next to the play/pause button that will stop/continue downloading?

    interesting idea. i suspect that it won't be easy since we will have to change the pause button's behavior based on where the player is -- since in most case people tend to use it more to buffer the video fully before start playing so that it doesn't stop and rebuffer in the middle. we will consider your idea and see if it's implementable. thanks for the suggestion.

    Good idea! This would save users and Vimeo lots of bandwidth.
