In the spirit of Sesame Street, the program responsible for injecting so many minds with creativity at an early age, I propose we make a collaborative 'Vimeo For Kids' program. Nothing too twisted like that 'Wondershozen'. I'm thinking about an actual video that kids and adults can watch, and learn. The cornucopia of video personalities we have here on Vimeo feeds into it.

Characters, Animation, Singalongs, Costumes, Cultural Diversity, Dancing, How-To's, Life Lessons, the whole shebang.

And then we'll see about working them all into a single video compilation.

We'll just free-form for now I guess as I didn't know how much interest this would garner at first. Just tag stuff with: KIDVIMEO. As long as we have some good variety, which shouldn't be a problem,

Brilliant idea! But. Let alone 'Toys' none of the video submitted would answer very high expectations kids have - and I've been working with kids on an everyday basis a lonnnng time.

Song and rhymes are a good way to go, telling stories too. Remember high expectations. Kids buy any good story, from fairynotsofairyShrek tales to any good commercial :)

Yeah, beside the idea of sesame street's alphabet stories, this project was a lotta fun for the people who hung around this time. No one of us (I believe) has a pedagogical background and most of the vimeans kids loved it when it was first published here.

But - it's up to you to make a real "kid-worth" video and post the link here. That's what vimeo is for.

Big misunderstanding! Sorry guys. As I explained it to Ojo, you'll never believe what I meant :P I tried in a most unapropriate way to say that you guys had me laugh fo sure. Videos were fun but. I just thought though you might head to something a bit different. I meant to help not to be unpleasant or giving anyone lessons :P Keep up the brilliant atmosphere around here.
