    Are you hungry an hour after eating breakfast?

    Try beefing up your protein intake and reducing your carbs. Your body burns proteins a lot slower than it burns carbohydrates, which means your less likely to feel hungry as fast.

    Here's an example of a breakfast or three that I eat in the morning.

    * 1/2 to 3/4 of cup of low fat or no fat cottage cheese (i love cottage cheese)

    * 1 slice of whole wheat toast (small) with brummel and brown ( brummelandbrown.com/ ) or a1/2 cup of organic steel cut oats.

    * 1/2 banana

    * cup of tea w/ fat free half and half and honey

    ________________________________________

    * 1/2 cup of organic steel cut oats

    * a scoop (or two scoops depending on the serving size of your protein powder) of vanilla whey protein powder.

    * 1/3 sliced banana thrown into the otatmeal mix, with a dash of stevia ( stevia.net/ ) to make it sweet.

    * five or six chopped almonds (or a teaspoon of natural peanut butter)

    * zap it in the microwave for a 45 second to a minute.

    some people love this, some people hate it. i love it.

    * 2 eggs ( i use an egg substitute like egg beaters)

    * any veggies that you like (chop 'em up small)

    * slice of whole wheat toast w/ a tblsp of brummel and brown ( brummelandbrown.com/ )

    * cup of tea w/ fat free half and half & honey

    I coat my pan with PAM and sautee my chopped veggies. Sometimes I'll add a little bit of water to steam up the veggies just enough to make them soft yet crunchy. Then i throw my eggs over top ove the sauteed veggies and scramble.

    i don't use cheese because it's fattening. i don't use real butter either.

    don't forget! you can always do a protein smoothie in the morning, too. It's fast, full of good proteins, and you can add fruits like bananas for a healthy carbohydrate!

    i use the egg beaters too...and the veggies..i love hot peppers..it gets your metabolism going! and get the oats that you have to cook..not the the instant kind...im so glad that you have started this site...you rock m!!

    Yes. Get RID of those instant oatmeals. They're full of stuff that we shouldn't be eating.

    They might taste good, but what's making them sweet is chemicals and artifical materials.

    P.S. Did you know you can microwave Egg Beaters? My bodybuilding friend taught me that. It's quick and easy! Just mix in some veggies, and even some turkey and it's delicious!
