Hi Greg, I just began seeing your HD1000u videos/tests and think it's great that you've taken the time to shoot them and share them. Is it possible to provide access to the actual file via a weblink? The reason I ask is because one never knows if the video is accurately rendered once it has been uploaded and so viewing the actual file would eliminate any concerns in that area: For example, your demo of the night shot using the HD100u had a noticeably brownish cast over it - I use a color calibrated monitor so I suspected it was something in the rendering - or was it the camera itself (eaks! if it was the camera) ? (I can be reached at petersarro@hotmail.com) - Thanks.

Dear Sir,
In the Netherlands the HVR-HD1000E is difficult to get. Before I want to order the camera, I like to know if it is possible to pull out the viewfinder to the left, far enough to be used by left-eye looking cameraman like me!
I hope you can give me that information.
Sincerely yours,
Edo Kieft

Hi Greg, how are you. This is Tiago, from Brazil. I'd like to see (or even read) some comments from you on a HV20 Vs. HD1000 color comparison. It's not about which one is the best camcorder. It's just about being an user that has the HD1000 and wants to buy a compact cam and don't know if it's better to spend a little more on a HC7 (or HC9) to have exactly the same colors on both Sony models or to step up and get the Canon HV20, overall better camera but from another company and maybe having a big difference in terms of colors and performance under the same light situation. Maybe a Video footage on both cameras would answer this or even your personal experience would be enough to help me on this dilema... Thanks in advance. I've been a fan for quite some times, you always got great videos. See you soon. Tiago Cardoso (bra_epix@hotmail.com on MSN or tcxcardoso@gmail.com on email)

possible to show vids using the HD1000u to capture colorful scenes? I'd like to see what color separations this can produce.
