  Surreal. Huge car accident on the side of the freeway, smoke...lots of smoke. Couldn't park, took the first exit, turned on the first light, parked the car, ran out..lost my shoes...Lost my shoes...where are my shoes...my feet hurt I'm stepping on prickly plants and hard asphalt....running towards the smoke and I could only make out figures one hunched down and another jumping. My heart is pounding and this is the fastest I've ran in the last 3 years of my life.
  
  Caucasian Male, Approximately 18 years of age, Caucasian Male, Approximately 20 years of age, Caucasian Female approximately 17 years of age, Asian American Female approximately 18 years of age...scared, crying, bleeding, shaking.
  
  Car is a crumpled mess wrapped around a lamp post that seemed to have jumped? the side of a barrier? How did this happen? How did these 4 people end up here?

  Yeah, my ribs hurt...I wasn't awake, what the hell happened? Were you wearing a seatbelt?
  
  Policeman arrives...I make sure they are in good hands and I walk back to my car.
  
  My feet hurt.

  I find my shoes.
  
  Thank god they are alive. ...
  
  It's 1:57AM and I am happy, that I am alive.
