Hello all. My name is Jordan. I enjoy capturing beauty in anyway i can, most particularly in the oddest or rarest of places. Anything to catch an eye and make them think differently about something. Kinda like "oh, who knew that could look so cool or pretty?"
I shoot everything with a Panasonic DVX100 for video. I edit it all in my home studio with the entire Adobe Suite Product Line. I also use Final Cut Pro and Macs at work quite a bit, but all of my personal video work is done at home with Adobe Premiere Pro.
Im just starting to get into more still photography. I have been shooting on film for awhile, because until i could afford to go into both still AND video in depthly, i preferred the look of film over digital. I recently bought a Nikon D50 SLR with a 50mm 1.4 and a Sigma 28-200mm lens set. Im pretty stoked to get more into that.
I run a dvd/video production company called "PROGRESSION PICTURES" with a friend of mine which mostly focuses around musical work such as music videos, promos, live shows, and full tour dvds. Its kind of our side project to enjoy the music we love and make some money if needed.
However, the rest of my time is dedicated to my little baby "Aesthetic Deviance" which i just started this year. I did the whole web-site and all content on there myself. Its where i throw all of my work and anything i want to show the world.
I just try to take my visions and put them out there to see if anyone agrees with me, if not...hey, they are my own and im proud of them and what i do. Im glad i find beauty the way i do. Feel free to contact me at anytime with any questions, comments, feedback, etc. Im open to all suggestions and opinions and really enjoy hearing another's word vs. mine. Thank you all so much for your interest...toodles!
