Ashley Vaughan is an artist from Jacksonville, Florida. She enjoys running her fingers down the spines of old books and from time to time opens one up. She also digs painting, tea, and when people on Jeopardy pick daily doubles. She currently makes her home in Denver, Colorado.

Audrey Sprenger, Ph.D is an ethnographer, audio producer and professor of sociology. She currently is working on "Students of the Weather," an audio ethnography about the South Asian, French Canadian, Amish and Italian American communities settled along the borders of New York, Ontario, Vermont and Québec; an ethnography about Jack Kerouac, "Notes From The Margins;" and her series of publicly accessible, university accredited courses, including "Audio Ethnography," "Names We Call America" and "Turning Life Into Fiction." The author of the true-life novel "Home Goings," she currently makes her home in Denver, Colorado where she co-directs "Fresh City Life," the Arts, Letters and Adult Education Office at the Denver Public Library. She often collaborates with composer, conductor and multi-instrumentalist David Amram.
