I made this video for a contest that Sigur Ros announced in November, 2007 youtube.com/group/MinnHeima .

This short film was shot in HD and the footage that was provided from Sigur Ros was upconverted to HD. Filmed and edited in a week, this has been a really fun project to take on. All original footage filmed by me.
The contest rules were to use the footage that they provided, mixed with one's own footage. I decided to create a narrative after listening to I Gaer several times

This short film is the result of a labor of love for Sigur Rós and all their fans. It is about their music & sharing. It is about dreaming of Iceland and its powerful landscape. It is above love, but most of all it's about feeling "at home" with something. This is my heima.
