movax is the performance name for visual artist/programmer Kristopher Collins. VJing with custom software since the late 90's, he has built a repertoire focused on creating a tightly focused live performance using his visual synthesis programs, and audio reactive motion graphics. 2008 highlights include being featured with Amon Tobin at Yuri's Night Festival (Bay Area), designing/performing special music reactive software for Plaid's 2008 tour, and VJing for Speedy J and Tipper.

    This is really cool. I've thought about this problem before, but got hung up on the issue of how to load a large enough image library, and to pick the best fits quickly. How long does it take? Does it fit subsections of images or attempt scaling of subsections? Seems like it would take forever.

    It would be sweet to apply this to video, with a really large image database.

    Glad you like it. Yeah the wireframe stuff is just one of many different decorations available to spice up the environment. Sometimes they work better than others.
