Me Stuff:
Nick is a Brooklyn filmmaker and photographer with a love for documentary. He's an avid cyclist and activist for positive social change.
He strongly feels that the average shot is too short these days, and hates flying text.
He recently completed his thesis at NYU on The use of YouTube as political communication and propaganda in the 2008 election.
He likes eating soy ice cream, riding his Fuji track down hill and rarely talks about himself in the third person.

Work Stuff:
He is a freelance filmmaker and editor, regularly contributes to streetfilms.org and does media consulting for Working Lady Productions theresident.net and one-earth.com.
He is also an adjunct professor at Eugene Lang University and Marymount College where he teaches media, cultural studies, and video production.
He is currently applying for grants for an upcoming feature length documentary as well as forming a nonprofit production company AmbientLight Films, dedicated to socially conscious topics, environmentalism and sustainability.

Tech Stuff:
He shoots on a Panasonic dvx100b sometimes but mostly on a Canon HV20. Getting an M2 adapter soon, so hopefully will finally be able to use the Nikon SLR lens he has for something other than travel photos and pictures of his cats.
Edits on FCP studio 2 and a macbook pro 15inch.
