3 months agoNicholas Whitaker commented on Letus mini 35mm DOF adapter TestDiego, The lens is an AI but it doesn't really matter. i recomend a good manual lens with fast fstop rating. Zeiss makes a great 50mm that goes down to 1.4.
CrazyalCayne,
The HV20 is a consumer hand-held camera. The predecessor to the hv30 that is out now. The Letus extreme is a fantastic adapter for a camera the size of the DVX, and i recommend manual lenses with a fast fstop rating. -

Me Stuff:
Nick is a Brooklyn filmmaker and photographer with a love for documentary. He's an avid cyclist and activist for positive social change.
He strongly feels that the average shot is too short these days, and hates flying text.
He recently completed his thesis at NYU on The use of YouTube as political communication and propaganda in the 2008 election.
He likes eating soy ice cream, riding his Fuji track down hill and rarely talks about himself in the third person.
Work Stuff:
He is a freelance filmmaker and editor, regularly contributes to streetfilms.org and does camerawork for Working Lady Productions' theresident.net and for one-earth.com.
He is also an adjunct professor at Eugene Lang and Marymount College where he teaches media, cultural studies, and video production.
He is currently applying for grants for an upcoming feature length documentary as well as forming a nonprofit production company AmbientLight Films, dedicated to socially conscious topics, environmentalism and sustainability.
Tech Stuff:
He shoots on a Panasonic HVX sometimes but mostly on a Canon HV20, recently with a letus DOF adapter and Nikon glass.
Edits on FCP studio 2 and a macbook pro 15inch.
