Hi Julyen. The background story is far more extended than the brief abstract I added to the description. If you would like to read a bit more about the very project and background to it please let me know and I could send you the PDF book I produced for the very exploration. Have a look at one of the longer replies I did further down in the commentary. Thanks!

Thanks for the addition to the channel. Illuminated indeed, but not necessarily for the good. What I intended to capture in the video through photography is a somewhat similar experience when looking with your eye, something that perhaps only a still image camera can do today (as far as I know). There is a very extensive story behind this very project of mine which lies in the fundamentals of the citizen of a city becoming a passive onlooker instead of actively participate/affect the very same space one resides in. This video forms a part of an installation space where the participant/visitor of the installation perhaps enters the space as a passive observer but by being affected by light which extends and surrounds the viewer (in the installation space and in sync with the imagery) the viewer is perhaps distracted and pulled out from only being a passive observer. The end result (intended) is to cause some form of reaction to over illumination. In the very creation of the video I utilised a Situationist (Situationist International) technique called "derive" and did an attempt to use Singapore as my defined framework, the drifting in this space, the intuitive decision making based on what I saw on my journey - contributed to this work. As a side track to this it was entirely done by travelling on my bicycle for some 500km across the island. Data was collected and put together to try to understand what energy is and how much effort you actually have to put in, in order to create something. As a doctor in environmental engineering once told me, money has no value, energy is universal. I Appropriated the thoughts and put them into action. The discovery is pretty amazing... and how so much goes to waste. But yeah, light is beautiful, and that is indeed a problem.

Thanks! That one was one of the easier (39 scenes/locations) that were captured. A side note, you feel very tiny standing beneath those scrapers. Very tiny.

Thanks a lot for the positive feedback on 3xWarped! I'm/we are tempted to try out something a bit further along a similar path, something that we could spend a bit more time on, so we'll see how those ideas will evolve.
