The snow is gone. The sheet metal is straight, well, mostly. The engines are fresh and the drivers are hungry for the new season to start. The annual rite that signifies the racing season at Oxford Plains Speedway, spring practice, is behind us now and the racing begins.

The drivers weren't the only ones hungry. I've been planning some improvements for the racing coverage this year, not the least of which is the new "speed shot cam" with help from the kind folks at Crazy Horse Racing.

So, while the drivers were polishing their skills, I was knocking the rust off mine. So with all access, thanks to Curtis and Kenny, there are some new shot locations, plus some very cool footage from the new Crazy Horse speed shot cam.

Hopefully this will tide you over until the next race.
