24fps didn't pop out of no where, it was all due to audio to start with. Its not THE standards, but that was the minimum required to deceive the eye from still motion pictures. The ability to manipulate light in motion in a digital domain today is insanely limitless. Still, its inseparable from its second element, sound. That's my principal.

    Looks wonderful! I love how the subjects stood still for a while thinking you shooting a picture... and then realizing its not. Guess folks will get a few of those with this new VSLR cams.

    Any specific reason why the 7D and not the 5D?
    And was this shot fully automatic or did you use manual focus? Curious.
    I've yet to try one of these beasts myself. Stabilizers definitely a +.

    This is gonna be one those family keepsake I'm sure. :) Well done!
