In my "day" job I'm Editor in Chief of linux.com and part of the crew that produces slashdot.org - but evenings and weekends I shoot videos in and around Bradenton, Florida, for fun and sometimes for money. I'm now 100% high-definition, with a Canon XH-A1 and a Sony A1U, plus appropriate Bogen-Manfrotto tripods, "on the move" steady-shot gear, and a wide array of both wired and wireless microphones, plus a decent light kit I rarely need, but is handy to have "just in case." Besides local video shooting, I also do "you shoot, I edit" work and screen capture-based software and Web instructional videos that *are interesting enough that people actually watch them*. :)
