Ryan Gladstone

I am a senior photojournalism major at the University of Missouri and will graduate this December. I am a business minor.

I currently co-manage the University of Missouri photojournalism department's equipment window.

This past summer, I worked as the multimedia intern at the Tulsa (Okla.) World. I was a photojournalism intern at the St. Joseph (Mo.) News-Press in the spring.

I became interested in photography early in my life but found my passion in high school, when I discovered sports photography, fiber prints and photography road trips. I quickly began looking into different options for leading my life with a camera, and journalism stood out as the best route for me, because I have a keen interest in current events.

As a journalism student, I have sought to broaden my skills so I am prepared to tell stories in the best possible way. To this end, I have worked as a photography editor, reporter, online assistant and designer.

Between photography assignments, I enjoy biking, history and Woody Allen films.
