    Canon D5 Mark II with Kit Lens ~ 3500$ 50 mm - F/1.8 - Canon EF ~150$ The images will look far better than on the XHA1, but... well, the Mark II is a DSLR and will handle like a DSLR with video. So don't expect XLR connectors or something. ;)

    You don't need to use the presets, they are only meant as a starting point. You get all the tools of a proper color correction plugin and I don't know why it should be cheating.
