Nothing very professional from me, but I'm interested in video. I'm really a tech-person at heart.
I use my digital camera, a Canon PowerShot SD1000, and edit using Sony Vegas Pro 8.0. Then I use MediaCoder to encode the audio to AAC and put it into an MP4 container.
My camera has the amazing CHDK firmware add-on loaded onto the SD card; it's a must-get if you have a PowerShot that supports it: chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK
