This 6 minute remake of the 1973 horror film The Exorcist was "sweded" for the "rewind Kindly" International Film Festival sponsored by DELL/AMD and the ALamo Drafthouse in Austin, TX.
AMC TV called the film "Fun to watch...more flair than most major studio movies."

During the "Over The Air" conference in London in April 2008, a group of geeks decided to "Swede" the season final of Torchwood (a BBC spinoff of Doctor Who?). The "swede" is very much inspired by the movies "Be Kind, Rewind" and "Son of Rambow"
