"Pneuma" is based on growth patterns generated by celluar automata software, processed in Adobe After Effects to create constantly changing structures ranging from crystalline to architectural. The soundtrack is a live improvisation on the Buchla 200e analog modular synthesizer, controlled by the Haken Audio Continuum Fingerboard fretless keyboard. This HD version was rendered in May, 2008. Warning: "Pneuma" displays an intense, periodic flicker pattern that some may find uncomfortable. Those subject to seizures should not view this film.

About the hike: From the 10 freeway looking up at this mountain you'd never guess of the alpine beauty awaiting at the top; which is always 30 degrees cooler than the desert valley below (thus our clothing changes). We began at 8500 feet and climbed to 9100 feet. Come with us as we ride the rotating tramcar (which posed a filming challenge), hike around in the 'Sierra-like' forests and come back down. Technical: This is a recreational video-no wow effects or maneuvers-go get a snack and watch this one. 1080i/30fps/TV/Vivid Color, 60 & 125 shutterspeed. Edited in the not so good standing with me right now iMovie 06. Help!! I think I know my answer but here it goes. You may have noticed choppiness in the video-this has started recently during the process. I close iMovie06, reboot-but still random choppiness. I run JES, it removes a lot of the choppiness (but not all) but it also drops my images from the movie. Is this an iMovie 06 issue? I've seen Eugenia mention, and I've heard from others that there is a problem with iMovie 06 and HD-is that what I am experiencing? Is it time for FC Express? Your thoughts welcome on this. On 13 may a fire destroyed the entire architecture building on the campus of Delft University. The official reading is that a leaking water pipe caused a short which caused a fire. The sprinklers had been turned off in order to repair the water pipe. The fire rapidly destroyed the upper half of the south wing of the building, making the building unstable. That caused the fire fighters to retreat entirely from the building, after which the fire slowly ate away the north wing. The north wing finally collapsed, causing the fire to reach the ground and eating the remains of the south wing. This video shows the spreading of the fire up to (but not including, I had no more tape left...) the point of collapse.

It takes her a little bit to get going, but once she does, watch out! I don't know much about hula hooping, other than that I've never been able to do it.... so this seems pretty impressive for a 4 year old (going on 5!). Or maybe I'm just a proud papa! Shot with a HV20 in 24 p with pulldown removed. Also, poor lighting conditions. I needed to learn how to do the whole 24p thing, so this was my test footage. Interpretive story based off the emotions and life of the Sigur Ros song Hoppipolla. Their amazing music was the inspiration for this video. The story depicts how we all have a choice about how to lead our lives. We have a choice to change and give our lives over to God. I've played soccer my whole life. The soccer scenes portray a parallel idea. As we live our lives we are in essence warming up, putting on our gear, and getting ready for that moment of change. That moment when everything comes together and makes sense. We take a shot at another way of life and ultimately reach a life-altering goal. I wrote the story, shot, directed, produced, edited, and acted in this video.

1st time-lapse attempt I shot a 1 hour tape and sped it up in Vegas to 1min 39sec. I used velocity envelope set to 300% and then Ctrl+draged the time line to 12x. I rendered it to a lossless huffy then reimported it and added another envelope 300% and dragged to 1.6x There may be a better or easier way to do this, I'm not sure. Any ideas? I used Vegas color corrector (red highlights) and cookie cutter. Overall, I'm happy with this first attempt. We have some really beautiful sunsets here in the summer so hopefully I'll get this perfected by then Comments and/or advice are welcome as always! Music by: Kenny Chesney - When The Sun Goes Down
