This is my first video, So I decided to mesh my new interest with editing and filming with my long time love of my homey stick3x's {Damien Dunmore's} song "Life At The Back House" I had been visualizing scenes for a couple years while listening to this song and seeing how it felt to me, so this last trip to central America I took along my camera and shot most of it in Puerto Viejo Costa Rica, and on the island of Bastiementos in Panama and then came back to Los Angeles to shoot the scenes of Stick playing bass. I told stick3x the concept I had in mind and what I felt as I listened to the song, I have much gratitude for him because he completely left it up to me and Did not try to control it. Or even want to see it until it was done which allowed me great amounts of creative freedom. LYRICS: Outside morning air is fresh Sky bright blue and warm Look at the rocks in the garden Light streaks through the leaves Ever so slightly the rocks light up Butterfly descends on a dying leaf Life at the back house Sun shines down through the butterfly Veiny white wings Jin's an angel's in the garden sing Housecat's lick dinner from the bottom of the bowl Dead leaf's and seed's Moist shady ground A little insect stops to listen....To a crashing sound Life at the back house Inside the home is cold and dry Winter has returned Candle's burning in the living room Smoke of incense tears my eye Daddy long legged spider's On the ceilings and corners they don't seem to mind Life at the back house Jin's and angel's of the garden sing
