Local Conversations had a chance to interview Gwen Bell from Tech Stars while on an East Coast network swing. Gwen who attended UNC has traveled from Carrboro/Chapel Hill, to Boulder Colorado, back to Carrboro and now back to Boulder Colorado to work for Tech Stars. Gwen who also represents Colorado startups and I had a few moments to chat about her role with both companies, her journey form Carolina to Boulder and places in between. We also talked about how important personal branding is online and what advice she would give to anyone who’s looking to launch a startup. We covered other topics such as are we seeing a new feminist movement online with women being the new face of tech such as Amanda Congdon (I said Amanda Moody, sorry Amanda), Veronica Belmont and Tara Hunt.
