  I'm through with pretending that I'm not the biggest dork in the world:
  
  Weird Al Yankovic is a world-class entertainer! As other seemingly much bigger top 40 acts have completely disappeared from view, Weird Al has withstood the test of time and has grown his cult status ever since his release of 'Another One Rides the Bus.'
  
  He's managed to be silly, clever, yet somehow remain fresh. In addition to parodies, he writes excellent original music which I don't think he ever gets nearly as much recognition for as he should.
  
  Plus, for as wacky as his music can be, I've always felt that he's maintained his pride and dignity. He's like a Vaudevillian comedian more than a "I'll eat cow poop for a cheap laugh" type like Tom Green.
  
  And few people know of the enormous personal tragedy that Weird Al Yankovic has been coping with since April 04 when both his parents were found dead in their home from carbon monoxide poisoning.
  
  Despite all this, the man has remained on top of his game.
  
  Weird Al Yankovic will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame one day. No joke.
