theLAB is many things. theLAB is the title of a Leicester based VJ collective. Using Edirol live performance hardware and custom content we perform perfectly in sync with live bands, DJ's and installation artists.

theLAB is an interactive VJ DVD based magazine that allows YOU to mix visuals using a domestic DVD player and contains music videos, tutorials, interviews, showreels, software, hardware reviews and other interesting, yet mildly geeky things.

The first release of theLAB's interactive VJ DVD magazine is nearing completion and includes visuals from theLAB, Catarax & Psiconlabs, as well as tutorials from Deepvisual & PC VJ software from Psiconlabs.

theLAB is also a collective melting pot of creatives who cover each and every genre. Live music, experemental art, installation art, venue decor (tenPM), DJ hire (Cream / Fierce Angel / Polysexual / Garlands to name a few).
