Twelve Rakes

I am an independent filmmaker living in Los Angeles. I was born and raised in New York City and spent many years as a recording artist, getting my first International recording contract while I was still in college. I have recorded for several major labels, toured extensively and worked in some of the world's greatest recording studios. Since setting my focus to film, I have been hired my many artists and record companies to profile recording, touring and performance processes. My first feature film "Betty Blowtorch and Her Amazing True Life Adventures" won several awards and was released by acclaimed documentary producers "Cinema Libre" ("Outfoxed" etc.)

The LA Weekly called the film "Funny, touching and jubilant."
Film Threat said, "We dare you not to be moved by the tragic story presented here" giving it FOUR STARS.
And The American Film Institute called it "Honest, vulnerable, gritty and unafraid. The film refuses to be become melodramatic even when faced with death. A film every music-lover owes it to themselves to see."

When I am not running around the world, following musicians with a camera, I am in Los Angeles writing, directing, freelance editing and preparing my next dramatic feature.
