I was born April, 6th 1978 in Spokane, Washington. Tyler was raised in Post Falls, Idaho. He attended The Art Institute of Los Angeles, and lived in Los Angeles for 3 years. Then in 2001 he moved to Boise, Idaho. This is where he lives today.

Artist Statement:

As a kid, I always felt that imagination was in what I was working with. As an adult, I realize that the imagination is actually inside of me. As a self-taught sculptor since the age of 10, I have always struggled with why I was given this talent, and now I understand it is to give the world a chance to see things through my eyes. Claytown represents my life as it is and my life as I want it to be. Everything I have ever seen or wanted to see is here. For me, it’s a perfect world into which I can always escape when I want to just relax and create.
