The School of Political Science & International Studies is at the forefront of teaching and research in Australia and enjoys a strong reputation worldwide. Our academic staff are internationally recognised as leaders in their field and are actively engaged in high quality research and publishing. Our courses are concerned with how we make sense of the world in which we live, the current challenges we face, and how both Australian and international political institutions ought to respond to complex policy problems in an era of globalisation and rapid social change.
To this end the School hosts a number of public lectures and seminars each semester giving students and the wider public the opportunity to hear from the policy makers and leading experts on today's key events and debates.
