Salise Hughes

Salise Hughes studied visual art at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, and San Francisco Art Institute. She began making films in 2005. Her first film, Strange Weather, screened at International Film Festival Rotterdam 2007, and her second film Tidal Wave, won an award in the 2006 Ann Arbor Film Festival. Other screenings include Seattle International Film Festival, Athens International Film Festival, l’Alternative- Barcelona Independent Film Festival, and Walker Art’s Center’s Women With Vision. She currently lives in Seattle.
