These are great! You know, many people use a shotgum microphone inappropriately , especially in a small room. I love these tests. What a great tutorial

There is so much confusion on message boards with this camcorder and it's making me dizzy (but I have not fallen down yet) There is some confusion over iris, versus aperature, versus exposure I'm reading one board where everyone states that the exposure cannot be manually "fixed", meaning set at a specific exposure level. As you know, for example, like shooting a scene that goes from "light" to "darker", where the camera pans, and the camera does not have the ability to be at a fixed Fstop so it's auto and the scene blows out in terms of exposure and you can see the change I realize this camcorder does not have ftsop numbers but rather exposure steps or a sliding scale so to speak (that is what I have heard) I have an opportunity to buy one that has 10 minutes of use on it from a relative and it is in mint condition and they are selling it to me for $300. On one of the message boards, one guys stated... "What the hell is this fuss about, the camcorder can have a fixed exposure, it may not show fstop numbers but you can fix the exposure and "lock it" in. I can do that once I set the shutter at a fixed rate, I can set the exposure and lock it in" It's always hard to get good tech info online becasue sometimes you don't know if people know what they are talking about or they actually know And for me, I don't always know what I'm talking about but if someone owns one these camcorder I would love to know the real skinny on it Thank you for your time and patience David
