  The camera is on a custom made stepper motor panner. It also controls the shutter. Soon I'll add another axis of rotation.

  Nice vids. What cam are you using? I just bought a canon a610 to try and hack the firmare for builtin intervalometer. As I need a small setup for travelling. Trouble is the a610 was bought faulty of ebay for $30 and I still have to fix its shutter.

  I have accidently put some vids in the wrong channel and I can't change the channel. The drop down menu only contains the channel that the video is in. Is this a bug...

  I had a look at your art house footage. The music track is a good match. The deshaker has done a great job. I tried it on some mtb helmet cam footage and it made it worse.
  
  H264 is better than xvid but it takes longer to compress 2-3x longer. I have gotten used to it and it works on my linux handheld gp2x.

  When I do night time stuff with the camera on full manual I just use an elastic band to hold the shutter button down. Especially if I'm using multiple cameras and I only have 2 proper intervalometers . I'm doing a panning TL of the night sky as we speak. I'm going to post some motion TLs soon.
