He commented on Embed Player JavaScript/Chrome Control?

Tumbleweeds are rolling by... Forego chromeless - Any plans to bake in some simple ExternalInterface hooks? This would take what, a day for someone to implement?

He commented on How can you generate the .flv of a vimeo video given its ID?

All debates about how silly it is to entrench media content inside of players to support hard-to-maintain-control-of revenue models aside... You guys should really work out a chromeless player that maintains your watermarking, link back to vimeo and potential future embedded ad layering. Your player is very nice but ultimately if your competitors (aka YouTube) offer this and begin to offer better quality content you'll be at a disadvantage.

He commented on Embed Player JavaScript/Chrome Control?

Are there any ExternalInterface methods exposed by the vimeo embedded player, or any callbacks from it? YouTube for example just launched a chromeless player option, and their JS API allows for pretty much all aspects of the video to be controlled externally (and the playback provides state callbacks to JS). I'm working on an application that seeks to implement at best a uniform video playback experience across videos from different hosts (with proper linkage and credentials and any ad services those hosts provide intact), and at least an experience that is able to control a playlist when videos from different embed players start/stop. Any info about the above would be helpful, or a roadmap to when/if these sort of features are forthcoming. Best!, Neil diffuse media group diffuse.us
