This is my favorite type of slope flying... rolling and carving big turns, circle and loops in good lift. It was a perfect warm summer afternoon out at the Overlook – blowing 15-25 mph straight into the right side mini-bowl... nice thermals too. Woo Hoo!

The sun came out from under the clouds a bit before sunset. The light became beautiful. There was a very light breeze blowing across the slope just enough extend my hand launch flights. I had a magical couple hours of mellow Alula flying.

Slope Limbo at Sheba Crater, AZ

I spent some time trying to get "low" at Sheba Crater. We had light to moderate south winds on a warm hazy day. The lower SE bench works great for this wind direction. I flew my 13.7 oz RiteWing TL36 and was joined by Ezra flying his Le Fish and Harold flying various combat wings.
